Job Description
We are currently seeking a front-end developer for web and mobile applications to be part of our amazing team to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application.
Qualifications & Experience
BS in Information Technology / Computer Science or any related field
A minimum of two years of experience in web design or development services
Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
Possess an advanced knowledge of web and mobile UX/UI; adhere to and extrapolate complex design systems and apply to coded pages, screens, and states
Develop and test across multiple browsers, platforms, and devices, including smart phones and tablets
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
Participate in discussions with team members about technical best practices and help teams identify optimal technical solutions.
Very knowledgeable in the area of web content management systems; experience with multiple systems
Self starter, ability to work with minimal supervision. Equally skilled at working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Collaborates effectively with creative team and web designers during the creative process
Turns design and user interface mockups into websites powered by CMS
Ensures HTML/CSS is cross-browser and standards compliant and meets accessibility/disability requirements
