Job Context:
The position is based in Rwaished sub delegation as a full time, The health log - Pharmacist provides support to the health team in the ICRC health project at Rwaished (RWA), she / He will work as a part of a multi-disciplinary team. The main task will be to follow-up all medical logistic matters and the Pharmacy in RWA.
Standard function description:
• Assists the ICRC sub delegation / health department in establishing the medical supply chain for the ongoing health activities in all RWA .
• As the responsible person, is the legal representative and the accountable person towards National Drug Authority in Jordan (FDA, MoH and pharmacists association) regarding pharmaceutical issues in the sub delegation.
• The overall responsible on the pharmacy in ICRC Rwaished Health project.
• Assists with written reports on all activities undertaken in accordance with the project manager.
• Undertakes training and supervision duties as requested by the Health project manager _ Health Log/Adm.
• Responsible for informing the health project manager the needs for medical supply based on inventory.
Main Tasks (Duties &Responsibilities):
In coordination with Health Project Manager follow the needed medicaments and supply needed for the
ICRC health activities in RWA sub delegation.
In coordination with Health project Manager to follow up the ICRC medical pharmacy and he/ she is the main
In charge for this place.
Responsible for the medical stock management in RWA and implement the required procedures to replenish the stock on time to ensure availability.
Organize and maintain inventory and storage area.
Ensure shipments and inventory transactions accuracy.
Ensure product stock is adequate for all distribution channel and can cover direct demand.
Monitor items to ensure expiry date is not compromised.
Record deliveries and shipments to reconcile Inventory.
Report to health project manager need to replenish stock avoiding insufficient or excessive surplus.
Analyse data to anticipate future needs.
Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports accordingly.
Produce and follows up requisition orders and follow up the SR with Amman Health Log / Adm.
Ensure regular presence in the ICRC Pharmacy and from time to time to visit the berms according to
the needed demands by the project manager.
Cold chain product in the ICRC pharmacy & clinics are handle according to the recommendations of the manufacturer.
Ensure all the time the appropriate storage condition in the place of medicine (including dangerous goods product).
In coordination with the project manager Cooperate with the health delegates in charge of different health activities regarding the purchase and delivery of different medical supplies.
Contributes to department /project/program reporting and administration.
Undertakes any other tasks related to the sub delegation's objectives, upon the request of the Health Department.
