Standard function description:
- Handles general cash disbursements of medium/large delegation in various currencies
- Explains cash procedures to the "clients"
- Handles complex cashier work independently
- Reports of any irregularities immediately
- Executes financial analysis and statistics
- Ensures respect of financial procedures and guidelines
Cash Management
- Monitor the cash in safe and replenishes from Admin. main safe whenever necessary
- Accompany the Administrator to the bank when replenishes the main safe in the Delegation.
- Distribute Working advances and controls settlements according to the financial rules.
- Receive and control invoices.
- Pay invoices against cash.
- Hand-over and perform at the end of the day to the finance responsible the following:- Daily cash control- Pending invoices
- Examination of physical invoice documentation (incl. backup) and ensure sufficiency of necessary approvals prior to processing of any cash payment
- Follow-up on monthly & periodical basis the payments and keeping records for the payments arranged in an orderly manner.
Book-Keeping / Accounting => JDE/OSCAR-specific Authorizations
- Accounting Vouchers: Logging (/Pre-Registration) and Data-entry
- Hands over all invoices paid to the Book Keeper for imputation in OSCAR system
- Prepares invoices (already pre-approved, NOT requiring PO-matching) for payment (cash / cheque or bank)
- Create Suppliers
- Prepares the supplier creation forms and open the supplier in Oscar system upon request.
- Provide payments details to the suppliers.
- Assist the accountant in the daily filling & the monthly Packing.
- Replace the accountant in case of absence.
- Follows and consults the F&A manual regularly to be up to date with changes at all times.
