We are currently looking for a projects-site engineer and for projects-industrial automation and control engineer to occupy vacant positions inside Jordan within the Projects Department. The projects-site engineer will be responsible for following up under execution projects. Where the projects-industrial automation and control engineer will be responsible for developing the industrial automation and control solutions, as per the details below:
1- Projects Engineer- Site Engineer
Job requirements:
1- Bachelor degree in Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering from a reputable university.
2- Minimum 5-7 years of experience.
3- Past experience in the industrial projects in the field of oil and gas, cement or fertilizer is preferred.
4- Knowledge in contractual conditions and obligations or past experience in FIDIC regulations is preferred.
Main job duties/responsibilities are:
1- Execute industrial projects in terms of following up material deliveries, installation, commissioning, programming and training at site for industrial equipment.
2- Implement projects management programs and tools.
3- Prepare preliminary designs and studies for industrial projects.
4- Prepare technical and contractual documents and submittals to consultants, contractors or clients.
5- Prepare progress reports for main contractors, equipment suppliers and clients.
2- Projects Engineer- Industrial Automation and Control Engineer
Job requirements:
1- Bachelor degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering from a reputable university.
2- 5+ years of experience in the automation industry
Main job duties/responsibilities are:
Electrical
1- Develop electrical design, schematics and drawings in AutoCAD.
2- Interpret mechanical design drawings for electrical requirements.
3- Develop electrical bill of materials.
4- Power up electrical systems and configure hardware per application specifications.
Automation and Control:
1- Understand the automation and control needs in each project and develop suitable solution to control different mechanical and electrical systems and integrate them in one control system.
2- Integrate the developed control system with the existing / plant control system.
3- Understand the different communication modes (hardware and software) between different control panels / systems.
4- Understand client requirements for GUI/communication interface, networking and create specifications based on these requirements.
5- Understand the different control solution and systems applied in the industry such as PLC, DCS, SCADA, etc.
