-Conducts group social activities, including arranging the material, equipment and personnel needed for these, ensuring the security and the wellbeing of the participants, and maintaining materials and psychosocial activities rooms in good order.
-Organisation and leadership of psycho-educational and psychotherapeutic groups, as well as social activities for these patients, including playgroups for children
-Gets in touch with the centres, places and people dealing with special activities for adults and children
-Schedules facility activities and maintains record of programme
-Supervises indoor and outdoor play activities
-Psychosocial assessment and support of victims of physical violence from Syria and other countries in the region, here for reconstructive surgical treatment of long-standing physical injuries and disabilities (patients include men, women,children and caretakers)
-Provides psychosocial care including group and individual brief supportive psychotherapy for selected cases, social support for others, and discussions of future prospects for those about to be transferred home.
-Refers patients to the psychiatrist supervisor when necessary for more specialized care. Observes and evaluates patients and makes suggestions for improvement
-Responsible of the wellbeing and the security of the patients during the activities
-Participates in trainings, and supervision sessions as required, including regular on-the-job training and supervision by the team supervisor, and occasional external trainings.
-Consults with other professionals to discuss counselling resources or techniques, to share occupational information.
-Responsible for the material needed for activities and storage
