The Finance Compliance Technical Officer should ensure and monitor that NRC Jordan financial transactions are in compliance with the specified requirements and donor regulations.
1. Roles and Responsibilities
Generic responsibilities

1. Implement NRC’s financial systems and procedures
2. Ensure adherence to Financial Handbook, other NRC policies and donor requirements
3. Prepare and submit reports and analysis as required
4. Ensure proper filing of all financial documents
Specific responsibilities
• Assist the Finance Coordinator in preparation for projects’ and annual audits; responsible to prepare all documents in advance and during the audit as required by the auditing team.
• Ensure proper audit trails are established for all procurement and financial documents.
• Develop action plans to implement recommendations made in internal and external audits and evaluations. Provide support and follow up on the implementation of the action plans.
• Monitor compliance in the implementation of NRC’s financial policies, procedures and controls through regular spot checks & field visits.
• Responsible to keep the authorization table up-to-date
• Assist finance coordinator to keep the Master Budget up-to-date
• Assist the Finance Coordinator in organizing and conducting training programs
• Assist the Finance Coordinator in preparation of donor financial reports.
• Regularly review and revise the NRC Jordan financial Policies so that it remains relevant to NRC’s work and context in Jordan as well as to the NRC global financial Policies.
• Follow up on any other duties as assigned by line manager.
