The Assistan Head of mission (HoM) support the HoM on the administrative part of coordination tasks, ensuring the relation with the local and national authorities, other agencies and NGOs through:
-Assisting the HoM in updating and analysing the humanitarian context in the region.
- Assisting the HoM on externatl and internal communications and meetings.
- Facilitating contacts with authorities and stakeholders.
- Revise relevant press and publications.
-Security follow up: monitor and report regularly on key issues to the HoM and assist him/her in the
analysis of information.
-File the field contacts (NGOs, UN agencies, authorities..) and verify contacts are up to date and accessible on a regular basis.
- Assist in drafting correspondences with government officials, UN agencies, NGOs, etc.
- Follow up formal communication from the project to the capital and vice versa.
- Ensure regular communication with local authorities
- Assist the HoM in information sessions about MSF for national staff and stakeholders.
- Inform the HoM on regular basis and participate to coordination meetings.
- Advises on various topics (culture, economy, politics, etc.).
** Successfull candidate will sign a 6 months contract, then it will be switched to unlimited contract based on the evaluation.
** monthly salary :1464 JOD
