The ideal candidate for the Senior Consultant position is one whom is capable of leveraging their current experience and continues to learn and want to be challenged. As a senior position at INMA Business Development, suitable candidates are expected to enhance their knowledge and experience both in consultancy and in leadership.
Their objective is to further the company’s productivity and reputation in successfully delivering results at the highest standard, while leading the assigned project teams towards their own successes and career development.
The successful candidate will need to be able to carry out, on a detailed basis, the following functions and document them utilizing INMA’s methodologies and matching INMA’s standards:
Market Research: developing comprehensive assessments of the projects target market including:
o Regional and/or national industry overviews, product definition, commercial assessment
o Data gathering and in-depth analysis via primary field and secondary desktop research
o Market analysis (growth, forecast, trends, recent developments), market size and gap analysis (supply-demand)
o Competitive assessment of the key market players and market share analysis
o Excellent comprehension of Market Strategy and Analysis tools: SWOT (9-point), Porter’s Five Forces, Product-Market Relation, Strategic Positioning Efficiency Frontier, etc.
Technical Analysis: developing comprehensive assessments of technical aspects including:
o Raw materials (primary & auxiliary), suppliers & pricing, material-production flow analysis
o Production processes (high-level and detailed), process mapping, detailed descriptions
o Machinery suppliers, analysis of technical offers, comparison between alternatives, able to recommend the optimal choice best fit for the project objectives
o Establishing the best route for production capacity and planning (long-term), tie in with the raw material and machinery requirements, manpower, utilities, organizational structuring
o Logistics definition, supply chain, inbound & outbound, procurement and distribution
o Building and infrastructure, facility design, layout, tie in with production capacity planning, future expansion, handling procedures (raw material & finished product), including facility and site layout mapping.
Financial Modelling: a broad comprehension of financial assessments is preferred, however it is not critical as much as the first two functions mentioned above. Acceptable comprehension includes having a working knowledge or understanding of the following:
o Key financial indicators and their role in assessing the financial aspects of projects, understanding the broad relevancy in financial modeling including: ROA, ROI, ROE, Breakeven Period, Current Ratio, Net Present Value, Gross Profit Margin, IRR.
o Accounting and financial basics such as: Assets, Liabilities, Shareholder’s Equity, Revenue, Expenses, Income Statement, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow Statement, CAPEX, Discounted Cash Flow.
