As part of our Transformation journey, Arab Bank has opened up its transformation agenda to take-in young and talented resources from reputed universities and build a talent pool within the organization. This will be achieved through a program called Transformation Academy (TA). The TA program particularly focuses on attracting young professionals who want to build a career in the change and project management space within operations and technology. The objective of this program will be to identify talented individuals and train them on focused banking and change management approaches that would eventually lead to working on new technology solutions using advanced frameworks and tools. The transformation Academy will initially focus on building two work streams within the change space:
Operations Change:
The academy staff will focus more on Business Analysis, project governance, change management and will eventually be part of big change that Arab bank is currently deploying. The candidates would have opportunities to grow into operations specialists, change managers, Business Analysts, testing specialists etc. The training will focus on process mapping, process re-engineering, six sigma, Agile methodology to bring understanding of how change is managed across banks / organizations. There will also be focus on soft skills development essential for effective change / project management.
Technology Change:
The main activities that will be covered under training would be the SDLC process in system development with exposure to automation tools for development / testing etc. Approach to system analysis and hands on training using these tools will be a key component in training these candidates. The candidates would have opportunities to grow into system developers, system analysts, QA specialists, team leaders, etc. The training will focus on process mapping, re-engineering, agile methodology to bring understating of how change is managed across banks / organizations. There will also be focus on soft skills development essential for effective change / project management.
