1. Roles and Responsibilities
The following is a brief description of the role.
Generic responsibilities
- Provides direction, assigns tasks and gives instructions to staff, specifies their individual work plans and evaluates individual team members performance, or provides direction, assigns tasks and gives instructions to daily labours and/or contractors and evaluates individual performance.
- Supports the assigned staff in their professional development, identifies training needs, supports staff to achieve the objectives defined in their learning development plans.
- Monitors the progress of the activities of assigned staff and ensures they are implemented conform planning and quality standards.
- Develops with the assigned team, Monthly activity plans
- Ensures compliance with NRC policies CC tools, handbooks, and guidelines.
- Identify, analyze and evaluate processes and gaps in the implementation of activities and make recommendations for improvement.
- Reports over the achieved activities and analyse the performed activities and signal bottlenecks.
Specific responsibilities
- Develop dissemination plans for NRC’s Shelter project in the camp. Coordinate with UNHCR Mass Information team to ensure coordinated messaging with refugees.
- Ensure that the views of the refugees are taken onboard and included in project design.
- Oversee outreach activities and incentive labor rotation management
- Set up systems and processes to ensure that beneficiaries have improved access to NRC’s services.
- Develop and strengthen the work of the help booth in the distribution sites according to existing SOP.
- Build and maintain strong relations with key stakeholders among the refugee community to ensure that NRC is able to deliver messages to the entire camp effectively.
- Produce and follow up the implementation plan for the community services team.
- Help plan and carry out needs assessments, baseline studies, and periodic studies.
- Follow up on regular referred complaints between the CRFM focal agency and NRC various activities.
- Prepare documentation and follow-up all support function processes related to the project.
- Manage CS team staff including periodic feedback and performance management, leave planning, work plans, update tasks, and responsibilities.
