As an Application Support Engineer , you report to the Team Leader; Technical Support, and will be responsible for support of all EastNets solutions to EastNets customers worldwide.
The position requires:
• Very good understanding of support process cycle.
• Strong team coordination and communication skills.
• Proactive approach to problem solving.
• Systematic approach and focus on problem identification and resolution.
DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Coordinate the analysis and reproduction of customers' issues by the Technical Support team, with the involvement of other groups as required.
2. Define and communicate answers and solutions to the customer.
3. Maintain good knowledge of EastNets products (software and documentation).
4. Maintain an overview of all delivered products and services per customer.
5. Perform testing and validation for release updates and patches.
6. Define and co-ordinate communication to customers on release updates and patches.
7. Maintain the operational support environment (documentation, case tracking tool, test environments, …)
