The purpose of this role is to support the delivery of HR strategy, policies and procedures in line with the company's Strategic Plan. It is a key role in managing change and ensuring the achievement of the company's strategic goals through effective people management practices.
Duties & Responsibilities:
This may include but is not limited to the following:
• Provide strategic direction and leadership on the development of appropriate HR Policies across the company.
• Assess current and future policy requirements to support strategic aims in conjunction with the company's senior management
• Research best practice to enable best design of the company policies
• Project manage the implementation and review of HR policies
• Impact assess the equality and diversity impact of all HR policies
• Provide strategic oversight and direction to the company Remuneration policy and practices
• Develop appropriate employment conditions and support to the company staff.
• Monitor employment legislation developments, assess the impact on the the company and develop policies to maintain legal compliance.
• Provide direction on staff engagement so that the the company regularly measures and responds to staff feedback to improve the company as a place to work Leadership on specific themes and issues.
• Play a central role in planning and strategy development for the Company as a whole.
• Provide oversight of the the company's approach to job evaluation to maintain
consistency and fairness and assess appropriate methodologies for implementation.
• Manage the interpretation and application of HR policies and procedures within HR
and across the company.
• Critically assess and develop policies in line with internal and external influences,
particularly taking account of the international perspective.
• Develop a co-ordinated and consistent approach to the way in which the company
engages with all staff directly and indirectly.
• Lead development of policies which promote equality & diversity across the company.
• Benchmark and modernise terms and conditions, remuneration and benefits.
• Develop effective employee relations processes and foster a more inclusive trades
union relationship.
• To undertake other duties commensurate with the grade as requested by the
Director of Human Resources.
• Develop company LMS and increase usage and training courses
• Develop review metrics and apply as solid system to ensure correct appraisal and
development of employees.
Other Duties:
• Supervise staff classifications and develop job description cards for new staff and
re-adjusting cards for current staff.
• Follow up on induction program for new comers in coordination with other
departments.
• Manage, control and supervise the creation and update process of employee files.
• Manage and supervise the leave approvals and leave balances of the employees.
• Monitor the status of work and expiration legal documents, such as visa permits for
expats.
• Create and maintain the evaluation plan and procedure in the company.
• Supervise career path and development plan for employees.
• Create and maintain a continuous training system as per company’s policy.
• Implementing and follow-up of HR committee policy.
• Manage and control the implementation of laws that are endorsed by the Ministry of Labor.
• Coordinate HR activities and training development needs as per R&D Department plan.
• Monitor and manage employees’ satisfaction.
