- Define storage, stock management and supply processes, as well as hygiene and security procedures related to stock safety and patient’s information tools, and protocols (controlling pests and rodents.
-implementing appropriate quality controls and records, in order to ensure good storage conditions (temperatures, humidity and light exposure) and availability of drugs and medical material. This will be done according to MSF protocols, national regulations and in cooperation with the logistics department.
- Coordinate the, reception and recording of local orders to pharmacy, in close coordination with the logistics department.
- Informing line manager on status of medication supply (shortfalls, over-stocking, expiry dates), in order to permanently ensure security stock levels and ensure efficient management of stock.
- Prepare orders of medical and drug material in order to ensure an efficient and appropriate consumption pattern under budget constraints.
- Dispense medications to patients, according to medical prescriptions, informing them on consumption patterns and keeping conditions in order to ensure their therapeutic progression.
- Report on drug consumptions and medical equipment/ materials dispensed according to protocols, informing on unusual patterns as well as forecasting future needs, in order to rationalise the budget and to ensure availability.
- Records all items received and issued in relevant consumption system.
- Know, promote, implement and follow at all times the universal hygiene standards/ pre-cautions, bio-hazard prevention and infection control, and other protocols and procedures in the medical premises and ensure high standards of hygiene of his/her working environment .
- Identify need for patients’ education and provide education materials regarding medication adherence.
- Ensure daily briefings are given to the Medical Team Leader, problems encountered, emergency patients, safety issues and any other relevant information.
- Participate in preparation and delivery of in- house training of the staff (quality of care, patient and staff safety, update of protocols )
- Participate in preparation and delivery of patient education sessions .
** Basic Salary is 1271 JOD.
** Six months contract will be turned into unlimited contract based on the performance.
