Provide intensive training to the clinical and senior administrative staff in the 38 health centers on emergency first aid. The trainings will be provided by SMTs approved by the MoH, with assistance from HSISR’s Public Health Specialist. All training content will be vetted by the MoH, and will adhere to relevant national and WHO standards and training materials.
Scope of Work:
• Effective pre and post evaluation tests and any other performance evaluation tools.
• Provide performance feedback and analysis.
• Build solid cross-functional relationships.
• Timely managed and deliver training on the time proposed with no delay.
• Provide the Program Manger with high quality training report and assessment on each trainee.
• Develop exit plan following training.

Topic: Emergency First Aid:
10 two-day workshops (one in each Governorate) will be organized to build the emergency care capacity of the 38 health centers’ clinical staff on a range of topics, including best practices in:
• Evaluating and triaging serious patients and establishing treatment priorities
• Recognizing and caring for disorders of vital functions (airway, breathing, circulation)
• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation and using external defibrillator
• Treating injuries, heat and cold exposures, and poisonings
• Infectious disease control measures and prevention of disease transmission
• Proper maintenance of emergency room equipment, medications, and supplies
