• The Maintenance coordinator report to the Camp Manager at Za`atari Camp.
• Assess current infrastructure, equipment, identify needs each IRD Field facility in the all 12 District in Za`atari Camp and KAP, in order to determine sites of new mechanical and civil works. This includes assessing and revising the special needs cases for intervention mechanisms and a referral system.
• Identify priority interventions to take place at IRD field facilities in Za`atari Camp and KAP.
• Assist the Project Implementation and identify potential health and social impacts due to IRD Field and apply appropriate mitigation measures and monitor the implementation of such measures.
• Identify the need for technical assistance, service providers and implementation work.
• Design and implement a consultation process to facilitate community participation and involvement of the community to enhance the principle of self-ownership among the refugees.
• Develop an appropriate budget, procurement plan and schedule to facilitate the implementation of the working plan on monthly bases.
• To ensure that the design and implementation of works consisting of rehabilitation of the identified facilities incorporate clean environment considerations.
• Report in daily, weekly and monthly basis in all activates.
• Ensures that maintenance volunteers adhere to humanitarian principles, IRD Code of Conduct, child protection, PSEA and other policies, practices and procedures and applicable Jordan regulations.
• Ensures strict adherence of maintenance volunteers to security protocols, IRD and Camp security and safety regulations and recommendations. Works closely with Security Officer to update and maintain camp level security SoPs.
• In coordination with case management coordinator; help in the maintenance of shelter for in need PoC cases.
• Any other tasks required for the benefit of IRD’s projects and programs in the camps.
