- Cultivate a network of key contacts inside Iraq to keep the MEU up to speed with changes in local dynamics.
-Monitor evolution of context and security constraints inside the country.
- Monitor humanitarian evolution with a specific emphasis on access to healthcare and basic needs.
- Contribute to assessing MSF OCA’s areas of intervention and evaluate the evolution of humanitarians needs (upon request from the projects).
- Keep and maintain constant information follow-up with the HOM and other members of the team.
- Conduct meetings with stakeholders related to Iraq including other humanitarian organizations.
- Maintain an updated network of key informants (community leaders, CS activists, etc…) in iraq with a particular emphasis on OCA’s areas of intervention.
- Maintain an updated list of key contacts in Jordan and Iraq and frequently refer to them.
- Pass on all relevant information related to MSF scope of action and context to the MEU team.
- Contribute to the writing of the MEU Monthly update for Iraq.
- Identify key humanitarian trends or changes and share with MEU team/persons responsible for the project.
- Translate documents and/or interprets conversation when necessary.
- Awareness and adherence to MSF security guidelines, and gather and share relevant security information with the MEU team.
- Reinforce the knowledge of the context (medical, humanitarian and general).
** Basic Salary is 1271 JOD
** Six months contract will be turned into unlimited contract based on the performance.
