Role and responsibilities
As a QA engineer, you will be part of a highly motivated engineering team that is responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services. You will be responsible for quality advocacy, planning, design, implementation, testing, reporting, and metrics. Actively grow collaborative relationships across Syarah. This individual promotes, establishes and improves standards and processes, and overall QA effectiveness within Syarah.
Your typical day includes:
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
- Providing accurate timing estimates on work.
- Engage and coordinate with other engineering teams.
- Responding to requests from the seniors QA Engineers.
- Generate automated test scripts.
