Job Purpose & Scope
Lead the team of Applied Sales account managers in order to achieve sales and margin objectives,
by growing and developing the Applied Sales channel, identifying prospects, signing new accounts, creating quotas and mutual win-win commitments.
Create short-term and long-range plans in order to achieve growth strategies.
Maintain current knowledge of own and competitive product portfolios and system
characteristics.
Collect, organize, and assemble data for reports, presentations, and special projects.
Work with internal company departments and respond to customer needs in terms of products
specifications, warranties, products availability, logistics, order changes, invoicing,
and any other administrative processes.
Compiles and submits accurate and timely sales pipeline and forecast data that allow effective
business planning.
Identify and coordinate product and technical training for the accounts managed.
Work with marketing department to coordinate marketing efforts and launching
events.
Manage individual performance and implement changes when needed to increase team effectiveness.
Ensures services to the customer after the sale to insure complete satisfaction and to promote future business.
Consistently manage multiple projects and tasks.
Ensures performance management for sales staff, e.g. agree upon clear performance expectations,
deliver performance reviews and establish development plans for direct reports teaming with the appropriate matrix functional manager.
