Accountabilities and Key Roles:
Take ownership and coverage for below items in regards to new projects / updates to existing set up, services and products of cards (debit and credit), Automated Teller Machines (ATM), and non SWIFT electronic payments:
- Act as main point of contact with cards associations / regulators and ensure product compliance with market and regulatory requirements. Act as point of contact between teams within the company.
- Management of cards outsourced vendors, cards products and related systems for countries.
- Define designated functions needs / projects scope from E2E perspective.
- Act as SME for Cards (Debit/Credit), ATMs, Switches and e-Payments.
- Analyze and develop detailed requirements description for designated functions needs / projects in coordination and agreement with designated and respective functions.
- Lead solution design (identify / design) to meet designated functions needs.
- Identify budget / cost for Operations related projects / requests in coordination with direct manager according to respective unit requirements.
- Handle and take ownership of operational set up and roll out of cards and electronic payment projects and product launches. Manage channels, upgrades, system and infrastructure requirements and ensure strong testing and implementation, and that operational processes are put in place.
- Ensure smooth operation of new cards and electronic payments offerings and address raised issues for final resolution.
- Ensure that sufficient and adequate fraud monitoring rules are defined as per the strategies released by the Global Risk Department.
- Participate, provide input and review related P&Ps and training related materials or aspects ensuring addressing laws, regulations, risk mitigating controls, system functionality, and product characteristics.
- Ensure all P&Ps and related forms are updated, reviewed and approved by internal and external stakeholders and published for HO and countries.
- Analyze the periodic circulars received from regulators and ensure product compliance with market and regulatory requirements and participate in selecting Chip technology and vendors and non technical specifications of ATMs.
- Manage team efficiently, providing motivation and developing their competencies while building a strong teamwork environment within and outside the team.
- Perform any task assigned by the direct supervisor.
