FUNCTIONS
• Identify existing planning platforms
• Assist in analysing the particular policies which may serve both the host community and migrant and refugee interests
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure their cooperation with the project, participate in information and knowledge sharing, and encourage their participation in various awareness campaigns at the community level
• Identify stakeholders for potential inclusion in the dialogue tables and working group discussions and establish dialogue tables and working groups in each cadastre/municipality
• Convene, facilitate and monitor the work of the dialogue tables, ensuring that actionable priorities and advocacy points are identified and that the various stakeholders’ viewpoints are considered in the dialogue tables, in particular those of refugees, migrants, women and youth
• Facilitate working group discussions around: 1) priorities and progress against work plans; 2) recommendations to be discussed at the dialogue table level; 3) problems and possible solutions identified through the assessments, working groups and FGDs, with the aim of mapping out corresponding action points to address them
• Minute action points and recommendations that are to be followed up in successive meetings - their resolution and completion monitored by the project team
• Facilitate community handover events through community mobilisation, awareness raising, and the transfer of ownership to local stakeholders
• Seek co-financing arrangements specific to the activities that emerge from the dialogue tables
• Maintain photos and reports on all sessions, meetings and site visits (community volunteers list, minutes of meetings, monitoring reports, site visits reports, close-out reports etc.)
• Maintain a good relationship with the municipalities and government institutions in Mafraq and Zarqa
• Ensure that Project’s communications materials (e.g. banners) are visible and present in all events, trainings, ceremonies etc.
• Keep an up to date record of major events in the governorate and report on them when necessary
• Support office maintenance and logistics when necessary
• Participate and engage in any project’s trainings and meetings as requested by supervisor
• Ensure cross-program integration, learning, sharing and adoption of best practices from other DRC activities and teams
• Ensure effective integration and mainstreaming of gender into all programs
• Any other tasks assigned by supervisor
