• Candidates will be responsible of the production of a 30 minute weekly TV show broadcasting TV reports on Ro’ya TV by the volunteers and students from: Zarqa, Irbid, Maan and Karak.
• Choose the topics of the weekly TV show and distribute them among the partners beforehand; overseeing reporters’ work; helping them overcome any challenges, ideas for a better TV storytelling and ensure quality control; collecting TV reports from all partners regularly and editing the TV show all together with Roya’s editor.
• Make weekly visits to follow up on the reporters work. The producer shall provide Roya and IMS with detailed minutes of meetings in addition to providing all the transportation invoices for the visits to Roya’s chief accountant.
• Candidates to act as a liaison officer between Roya TV head office and the university students (reporters).
• Producer to provide the necessary in-field trainings to the students/volunteers and the women network of Maan as needed on TV reporting and storytelling.
• Observe, examine and identify local current news, issues and success stories to be developed and made into relevant stories for “Minna wa Feena”.
• Be responsible of creating a page on Facebook and / or any other social media platform for Minna wa Feena to help increase traffic and viewership from the governorates
• Send monthly narrative reports to IMS and Roya TV on visits details, trainings, students, impact and success stories.
