Working in coordination with the humanitarian community and the Government of Jordan, the IRC's assistance programs for Syrian refugees in Jordan include both camp-based and urban-based refugee assistance. IRC is currently addressing the needs of conflict-affected Syrians from several operational bases in the region.
IRC’s activities in the region focus primarily on the supply of vital medications and medical supplies, non-food items, water and sanitation and child protection and form part of an over-arching humanitarian response in Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey, Iraq to assist refugees, IDPs and conflict-affected Syrians survive conflict and displacement. The IRC cross border program aims to greatly increase the reach, impact and sustainability of health and protection interventions inside Syria. Specifically, the project aims to satisfy the immediate needs of conflict-affected Syrians and support the re-establishment of health and protection services in partnership with NGOs and civil society organizations.
Job Overview/Summary:
The Data Assistant will support IRC Health Cross border programming in the Syrian Response region. This position will work as part of dynamic team, engaged in data entry and information maintenance, focused on compiling data from various program data repository in order to aid program planning and inform programming decisions. The position will provide support to partner NGOs that directly report to cross border health and improve program quality and delivery while actively participating in ongoing data amalgamation, maintenance and data management activities.
