FUNCTIONS
Identify the main stakeholders and facilitate their engagement with and collaboration within the project
Establish a transparent and collaborative relationship with local authorities, communities and other stakeholders
Ensure clear and constant communication with all stakeholders, promote information and knowledge sharing
Analize and understand the national and local strategic development plan for local economic development which may serve both the host community and migrant and refugee interests.
Establish working groups and dialogue table groups, involving key actors and stakeholders
Supervise working group meetings to ensure that groups identify their main livelihood challenges, gaps and priorities. Faciltate the formulation of recommendtions and ensure that they are presented to the dialogue tables.
Co-Facilitate dialogue table meetings to ensure: discussion on working group recommendations is had; that actionable priorities and advocacy points are identified; that co-financing arrangements specific to the activities emerge from the dialogue tables decisions; and that the various stakeholders’ viewpoints are considered, in particular those of refugees, migrants, women and youth
Ensure that action points and recommendations are followed up in successive meetings
Ensure the implementation of the action points identified by the dialogue tables
Support the PM in drafting BOQs for proposed initiatives
Maintain relations with municipality engineers; provide feedback to them.
Organise the handover to the commmunity of the project through community mobilization, awareness raising, and the transfer of ownership to local stakeholders.
Write reports of all sessions, meetings and site visits (community volunteers list, minutes of meetings, monitoring reports, site visits reports, close-out reports etc.)
Ensure that project’s communications materials (e.g. banners) are visible and present in all events, trainings, ceremonies etc.
Ensure minutes and records of major events in the governorate and report on them when necessary
Support office maintenance and logistics when necessary
Participate and engage in any project’s trainings and meetings as requested by PM
Ensure cross-program integration, learning, sharing and adoption of best practices from other ACTED activities and teams
Ensure effective integration and mainstreaming of gender into all programs
Be involved in future planning
Carry-out any other task assigned by the PM
