Main Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Creating and executing project plans, and revising as appropriate, according to changing scope and requirements.
2. Identifying required resources and assigning and coordinating individual responsibilities.
3. Actively driving project risk management.
4. Understanding basic revenue models, P/L, and cost-to-completion projections and making decisions accordingly.
5. Ensuring project regulatory and legal documents are completed and approved.
6. Communicating effectively with stakeholders to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
7. Effective facilitation of team and stakeholder meetings and communication of relevant project information.
8. Resolution and/or escalation of project risks/issues in a timely manner.
9. Prepares project schedules, budgets and tender documents
10. Negotiate and then manage construction and renovation contracts within approved guidelines and/or capital budget appropriations. This will include negotiation of contract terms and conditions, fees and/or contract values, deliverables, quality control, and legal accountability - all done to assure that the financial and legal interests of the Company are protected and that liabilities and exposure to risk is minimized.
11. Oversees procurement of equipment, and materials to be delivered at specified times to conform to work schedules
12. Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of electricity and materials.
13. Confirms system's and components' capabilities by designing testing methods; testing properties.
14. Develops electrical products by studying customer requirements; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.
15. Develops manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for building and assembling electrical components; soliciting observations from operators.
16. Assures product quality by designing electrical testing methods; testing finished products and system capabilities.
17. Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
18. Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests.
19. Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
20. Keeps equipment operational by following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting repair service.
21. Maintains product data base by writing computer programs; entering data.
22. Completes projects by training and guiding technicians.
23. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
24. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
25. identifying customer requirements;
26. designing systems and products;
27. reading design specifications and technical drawings;
28. researching suitable solutions and estimating costs and timescales;
29. making models and prototypes of products using three-dimensional design software;
30. liaising with others in the design team;
31. liaising with clients and contractors;
32. attending meetings on site;
33. designing and conducting tests;
34. recording, analyzing and interpreting test data;
35. proposing modifications and retesting products;
36. qualifying the final product or system;
37. preparing product documentation, writing reports and giving presentations;
38. Monitoring a product in use to improve on future design.
39. Follow up on all tenders we bid for
40. Prepare complete technical and commercial proposal for the tenders.
