Job Overview/Summary: The Warehouse Labor reports to the Warehouse Officer and is responsible for maintaining IRC warehouse located in Amman and assisting with day-to-day operations, including loading & unloading goods, cleaning and stock counting. He/she will also travel occasionally to IRC field sites.
Major Responsibilities:
Ensure the warehouse is properly maintained and clean.
Control access to IRC warehouse and ensure that premises are secure and safe.
Assist with checking quality, quantity and condition of goods delivered to warehouse.
Timely and safe loading and unloading of goods.
Update stock cards and bin cards on a daily basis.
Carry out physical inventory count, as required.
Alert about the maintenance of warehouse building, fittings and equipment.
Assist with other duties as may be required by the Warehouse Officer.
Preparing & packaging outgoing deliveries.
