Provide assistance in the use of personal computer hardware, software, and specialized mainframe technology or operates a multi-platform computer environment or monitors the productionscheduling, execution, and successful completion of production jobs;
Set up and configures desktop computers, laptops, Mac computers, and accounts assigning security level;
Install software and install and repair hardware and peripherals;
Test programs;
Troubleshoot, diagnose problems, implement corrective action procedures within prescribed guidelines and/or escalate to other technical resources as appropriate;
Maintain systems, databases and web pages;
Administer user accounts;
Design and produces basic reports;
Set up and submit production jobs and edit and debug computer output;
Transfer computer files between platforms; Provide basic troubleshooting, repair and maintenance for computer equipment (e.g. microcomputers, disk drives, and laser printers) and may assist with testing personal computers and peripherals on a network to diagnose,
hardware versus software problems;
Research and provide offers and quotations for IT requirements and prepare purchase orders and follow-up on purchasing of IT equipment;
Maintains records and IT related files;
Provide IT assistance on all activities, workshops and events of RFC inside premises and outside and upon request;
Any other task may be assigned by supervisor.
