WORKING RELATIONS
Internal Relations:
REACH Assessment Coordinator, REACH Project Manager, REACH Assessment Officer, Senior GIS Assistant, Database Officer, REACH Assessment Interns, REACH Host Community Intern
The REACH Database Assistant is responsible for completing the following tasks:
1. Data processing and management
1.1 To provide data-entry supporting REACH projects and ensure the databases are up to date, good quality information and encoded.
1.2 Provide support in monitoring and analysing incoming data.
1.3 Conduct quality control and monitoring control and monitoring of MIS and database.
1.4 To collate and file all documents needed for the database and enter each beneficiary or household information into the project database for projects.
1.5 Follow the work plan as outlined by the Database Manager.
1.6 REACH workload permitting, providing support to ACTED host community programme databases providing data outputs upon request.
2. Developing Applications to support data collection
2.1 Be very comfortable using ODK applications for Android Platforms (ODK build and collect), based on the questionnaires provided by REACH assessments staff.
2.2 Support with the collection of geo-referenced data through the ODK collection tool.
3. Filing
• To ensure that up to date files are maintained, both electronically and in paper form.
• Perform accurate filing of all processed documents, monthly consolidated filing, of key projects documents in his/her area offices.
