TASK :
To handle Customer Cash Deposits and Withdrawals on counter in JD and in approved Foreign Currencies.
To receive Cash in Local and Foreign Currencies towards issue of Demand Draft and Cashier Order and any other transfer or payments.
To handle sale and purchase of Approved Foreign Currencies
To balance the physical Cash with GLs as at the end of day.
Check and process outward clearing cheques by checking cheques against credit voucher before processing in addition to technical field on the chq .
To balance end of day clearing total and number of cheques on workstation with clearing report along with physical cheques.
To receive in house cheques from the customers and post them on the system.
To Prepare periodic reports relating to the Cash Area for management.
To perform any other duties that may be assigned from time.
PURPOSE OF JOB : To handle Local Currency (JOD) and Foreign Currency Cash (FC) transaction of the branch and to maintain Cash Register.
