The Education Technology Supervisor is the bridge between Education and technology at QRTA, he/she works with both worlds to ensure providing and using the right tools and solutions for educators and education
Duties & Responsibilities:
1- Manage the development of online and computer based training materials, courses, technology tools, and workshops,
2- Propose and implements education solutions and education support software and applications,
3- Deliver training on how to use those solutions, applications and software,
4- Supervise the development and maintenance of QRTA portal and tools.
5- Troubleshoot technical problems and train staff
6- Develop and evaluate related TORs, RFPs, technical proposals and Communicate with bidders and vendors
7- Conduct researches on the best utilization of technology integration in training and education, monitoring and evaluation, and online content development.
8- Develop an online mechanism to test standardized skills, individual training needs assessment based on the skills’ gap, and customised online/face to face training courses.
9- Gather information documenting the effectiveness of programs, interprets this information, and provide constructive input in evaluation of the program.
10- Maintain current knowledge of technology and instructional practices that relate to the use and integration of technology
11- Provide resource information relating to new techniques and practices that relate to the use of technology and that enable trainees to use technology as a learning tool.
12- Verify application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented.
13- Coordinate technology needs of different departments and align resources with the objectives of the projects and QRTA
14- Recommend information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
15- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending education workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
16- Perform any additional tasks as assigned by the Strategic Development Director.
