The Role:
As an Assistant Facilities Manager, you will be accountable for maintaining the facilities component of Alshaya's Retail Property Function. You will appoint and manage Contractor/Suppliers to achieve facilities and maintenance work within approved budget and agreed time scale whilst managing the FM budget; implementing and ensuring all PPM's schedule is carried out; and building strong relationships with our operational teams.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Initiating and maintaining key contracts- Reviewing proposed store layouts and managing FM budget- Carrying out all FM requests- Managing the FM helpdesk- Managing all processes within your area of expertise, in line company policies and procedures and market guidelines- Maintaining and managing all Alshaya systems, in line with company policies- Developing and maintaining internal and external relationships, and acting as an ambassador for the company- Reviewing then advising on all areas for improvement
Qualifications & Requirements:
You will have:
- At least 5 years in a retail environment, either in project management or facilities- A construction or degree-based qualification- Experience with civil works within a retail environment- MEP/HVAC skills.
