Under the supervision of the WASH Program Manager, the waste Removal and Camp Cleaning
Project Manager is in charge of implementing, supervising and monitoring the collection of solid
waste, the desludging of waste water and the camp cleaning activities in Azraq camp as well as providing reports according to the established schedule
1.Reporting: Performance rerporting
The Waste Rernoval and Camp Cleaning Project Manager is responsible for collecting and compiling
daily / weekly / monthly monitoring data,
Review the production of daily / weekly / monthly reports on the total quantity of solid waste collected
and waste water desludged and results of operations. He/she reports the data to the WASH PM,
collect photos,cf program implementation and ensure that donor visibilitv is respected,
Ad hoc reportirg
The Waste Retnoval and Camp Cleaning Project Manager is responsible for communicating issues,
problems, challenges, or ideas to the WASH program Manager and Coordination,
HR reportine
The Waste Rernoval and Camp Cleaning Project Manager ls responsible for ensuring that incentivebased
volunteer (lBV) systems are established and working well,
Communical:ion and Coordination
Communicatiorr with waste removal and camp cleaning team
The Waste Rernoval and Camp Cleaning Project Manager will maintain open dialogue with all team
members, and will treat all staff in a respectful way,
The Waste Rernoval and Camp Cleaning Project Manager will keep regular communication
Deputy Managr:r, WASH Program Manager and Coordination,
Cross-program communication
The Waste Rernoval and Camp Cleaning Project Manager will act as a clear communication
between ACTED's programs, contractors, sub-contractors and beneficiaries.
The Waste Removal and Camp Cleaning Manager will attend coordination meetings, interagency
meetings and joint-team meetings in the camp and will contribute to the liaison with other programs,
ln cooperation with the WASH Program Manager, the Waste Removal and Camp Cleaning Project
Manager assists in preparing BoQs and budgets upon request and as needed for project Development.
Perform any other duties as per project needs and as requested bythe coordination team.
Security
The Waste Rernoval and Camp Cleaning Project Manager is responsible for security
his/her team and is responsible for knowing the location of all teams at anv point
maintain regularr communication with the team when in the field,
The Waste Retnoval and Camp Cleaning Project Manager is responsible for immediately reporting
incidences to the Focal Point and Coordination.
The Waste Removal and Camp Cleaning Project Manager is responsible for implementing and
communicating security or evacuation plans,
