The Competitive Intelligence Analyst is responsible for managing competitive intelligence projects, as well as analyzing, reporting, and presenting results. This position is responsible for supporting the company’s strategy, growth, and innovation needs through competitive intelligence and industry research.
Responsibilities
- Complete custom competitive intelligence research projects using established department protocols and approaches
- Write easy-to-understand, organized and audience-appropriate competitive intelligence reports on research results in Word or PowerPoint
- Serve as an internal competitive intelligence expert on competitive, industry and/or other research, including expertise on appropriate data sources, methodologies (qualitative and quantitative, secondary and primary), and be skilled at insights identification
- proactively research and analyze competitors and identify new issues and trends to support Bayt.com's strategic planning process
- Collect data via a variety of methodologies based on need and scope, synthesize findings, and summarize potential implications for Bayt.com and its stakeholders
- Support proactive rhythm of competitive intelligence research activities for internal stakeholders
- Coordinate communications as needed for presentations, reports and other projects
- Maintain competitive intelligence repository and ensure that all documents are up-to-date and organized
- Other duties as assigned
Reporting line:
The Competitive Intelligence Analyst will be reporting directly to the Operations Manager
