1. Responsible for implementing the Company’s existing treasury policies with regards to the cash management and trade activities.
2. Responsible for proposing new and/or improving treasury policies.
3. Working along with Treasury Manager and Accounting Department to ensure constant cash flow forecasts, in line with budget and business needs
4. Guarantee bank receives proper reporting under the Project Financing. Coordinate with all relevant functions (technical, environmental, control) to provide all elements on time
5. Liaison with Treasury Manager in sourcing long term funding and Hedge Currency and interest risks when needed.
6. Analyze cash flow forecast. Review of variances from the forecast, and working closely with other business areas to ensure variances are investigated and forecasting is improved. Communication of the information to the relevant parties on time.
7. Ensure that all Internal Control Standards related to treasury management are implemented and applied in compliance with the related local treasury procedures in the company.
8. Contribute in actions aiming to improve working capital.
9. Working along with the Treasury Manager to maintain valid Insurance policies against all exposed risks.
Bank Relationship management
1. Establish and maintain good professional relationships with authorized banks.
2. Regularly review terms and conditions with banks in relation with Treasury Manager.
3. Recommend to The Treasury Manager the optimal number of bank counter parties and accounts to maintain control over all transactions and optimise costs in the KSA.
4. Monitor service received against expectation and cost, and compare actual charges and conditions (interest, value dates, commissions, etc.) against negotiated ones
Internal Control
1. Re-assess regularly bank counter-party risk.
2. Ensure that all Internal Control Standards related to treasury management are implemented and applied in compliance with the related local treasury procedures.
Organization and people development
1. Contribute to the development of treasury knowledge in the other functions of the BU’s
2. Participate to the treasury community activities (annual meeting, workshops, etc.)
