Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international independent medical humanitarian organization. For the current projects in Jordan, MSF Spain is looking for: Assistant Medical Coordinator.
Main tasks/responsibilities:
Assist the Medical Coordinator in the implementation of the overall medical content, activities and resources in the country mission through assuming responsibilities defined as per Job Description.
Assist in the assessment of humanitarian needs in mission country. Assist and support medical staff in the field through coaching and trainings. Actively participate in the collection of medical information (meetings, reports, articles, etc.) and medical data and reports sent from MSF projects. Prepare weekly and monthly activity reports; this may include compiling and analyzing data from the projects. Closely monitor the implementation of the MSF country Health Policy and carry out medical follow-up of all MSF national and international staff in application of MSF staff health policies. Facilitate access of international staff to relevant health care services inside the country. Carry-out other administrative tasks, i.e management of the medical library, archiving of data and medical reports. Monitor pharmacy related activities in the absence of country pharmacy manager.
