Tamweelcom, a leading microfinance company is seeking an experienced, dynamic, growth-driven Chief Business Officer (CBO), looking to take micro financing to the next level. As the region’s premier microfinance company we provide a collaborative, challenging and stimulating environment.
- Reporting to the CEO, the (CBO) is accountable for the day to day execution of the company’s strategic goals, segment P&L, while maintaining /delivering superb customer experience, responsible lending, and adhering to the company’s social mission.
- He/she will have direct responsibility over the branch network, sales and collections targets for micro lending and SME’s, operations, marketing, and credit
- The CBO is responsible for ensuring that the staff is adequately trained and operate at a high standard of technical competency.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• As part of the executive team, participate in preparing the strategic, tactical, and operational plans for the company
• Lead and coach a team of senior managers, maintain an efficient organization structure, and management succession
• Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company.
• Provide day-to-day leadership and management that mirror the adopted mission and core values of the company.
• Own the operation strategy including geographic expansion, portfolio quality management, client outreach, products, and communication.
• Oversee database marketing strategies, campaign development and analysis, and competitive intelligence to drive the growth while maintaining risk thresholds.
• Create the structure, procedures and controls necessary to manage the organization's current activities and projected growth.
• Ensures that the responsibilities, authorities, and accountability of all direct subordinates are defined and understood.
• Provide timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the company.
• Collaborate with the rest of the management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of our organization.
• Represent the firm with clients, investors, and business partners.
