We are looking to recruit a Fleet Manager for our unit in Jordan.
The Fleet Manager is responsible for managing the fleet department efficiently and cost effectively and up to the requirements and expectations set by the management. Fleet Manager will manage the company fleet of vehicles to meet sales & manufacturing demands, and maintain all fleet equipment in a safe and user ready condition.
Your main responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
• To manage the fleet department efficiently and cost effectively and up to the requirements and expectations of the management.
• Monitoring, evaluating all company vehicles in regards of their working, cleaning conditions
• To create and implement preventive maintenance plan for all vehicles.
• To follow up vehicles registrations and advertisements permits.
• To track all moving vehicles through installing a suitable tracking system to all vehicles.
• Oversee, evaluate all Technicians in the workshop.
• Maintain all fleet equipment in a safe and user ready condition
• Manage the Company Fleet of vehicles to meet Sales & Manufacturing demands.
• Monitoring workshop’s condition by checking its readability for tools, space and safety.
• To ensure the delivery of all products to customers in coordination with Sales department.
• Coordinate with the concerned department regarding to fleet to ensure the delivery of the products on the right time (local & export)
• Monitoring of air, sea and land shipments - import and export
• Liaison with procurement /sales on customs/import/export formalities through customs and country of origin
• Proper and effective personnel management related to the role
• Monitoring daily activities of various departments and making any necessary adjustments
• Planning for arrival of huge shipments
• Functionally the logistics department is the main supply line for the production and sales departments, therefore it’s functions are of high importance to the company
