Duties and responsibilitites:
• Developing the policies, procedures and plans of project management, in order to maintain the operational efficiency and quality, and achieve the strategic goals of the institution.
• Defining the efficiency and effectiveness of the suggested projects according to the analytic and technical studies’ results, as well as defining the risks and challenges that may affect the workflow of the projects, in coordination with the concerned parties and departments.
• Developing the work plans of projects, defining and discussing the methodologies that will be executed and the schedule associated with them, in coordination with the concerned parties and departments.
• Defining the required resources (financial resources, human resources, etc.) to execute the approved projects, in coordination with the concerned parties and departments.
• Building the teams required to execute projects, and managing the human resources to ensure executing the projects efficiently and effectively, in coordination with the concerned parties and departments.
• Reviewing Projects manager reports about the execution of the various project activities and actual expenses, and taking the necessary actions to deal with differences in the approved work plans and budgets, in coordination with the concerned parties and departments.
• Defining the performance measurement tools and indicators of the projects to ensure effective and efficient execution, in coordination with the concerned parties and departments.
• Reviewing the reports that evaluate the work flow of the projects and the output emanating from different stages to ensure consistency with the approved work plans, in coordination with the concerned parties and departments.
• Reviewing the alternative plans required for dealing and reducing the risks and challenges that may affect the workflow of the projects, and providing recommendations that can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the work, in coordination with the concerned parties and departments.
• Developing the programs that motivate the local community to participate in executing the various projects activities, and supervising their execution to ensure achieving the overall strategies and goals of the institution.
• Managing and organizing the relationship with various stakeholders to execute the development projects according to the local community’s needs.
• Reviewing the reports related to the amendments done on the phases of the projects, as well as the reports that evaluate the effect of the completed projects on the local community, and providing recommendations, in coordination with the product managers and concerned departments.
• Following the execution of the procedures related to the preparation of the statistics and periodic reports needed by the institution and parties that support the projects, in coordination with the concerned parties and departments.
• Self-Management:
• Strives to achieve the highest levels of proficiency on all competencies and skills required to perform the role
• Sets performance goals in the beginning of the year after discussion with the Senior Human Resources Manager and ensures those goals are achieved during the course of the year
• Identifies the training and development requirements for self and agrees on them with the line manager to ensure that the required training is arranged and attended
• Ensure detailed and accurate documentation and reporting relating to the requirements of the function.
Manage, prioritize and organize self, relating to additional tasks requested by Function Management to support the Foundation achieve its business plan.
