- Apply medical knowledge and skills to diagnosis and prevention (helped by clinical examination, laboratory results and exams available).
- Ensure a medical follow-up of quality and if necessary (and possible) refer to other health facilities.
- Keep informed the patient and his family about any development.
- Collaborate with nurses and team supervisor in indicating the needs in medical equipment and drugs.
- Coordinate the treatment with the other prescribing doctors.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation in the patients medical file in a timely and accurate manner diagnosis, lab exams, treatments, plan and discharge orders.
- Ensure the follow-up of treatments of previous hospitalised patients, including short- term prescriptions and renewal of long-term prescriptions.
- Take the history and performs a physical examination of patients with medical complains. Define diagnosis and ensure treatment.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation in the Patient’s.
- Ensure proper communication between hospitals and organization in Amman whenever patients transferred from Amman to Ramtha.
- Ensure daily complete briefing to colleague medical ward doctor (and nurse supervisor and/or medical director if applicable).
- Participate in the elective surgery programme whenever required.
- Organise and work in collaboration with other wards and departments (OPD, OT, physiotherapy).
- Notify the surgeons of any medical problem related to surgery, including pain, changes in the infection parameters, pertinent medical information.
** Basic Salary is 1464.
** Six months contract,can be turned into unlimited contract based on performance.
