A well-established Trading company in Amman that offer a wide range of products and services to heavy industry market sectors supported by an array of strong technical engineers and advisors is currently looking for a "Senior projects proposal engineer "
Responsibilities:
• Understanding of the company project solutions to corresponding industries.
• Understanding of partners map including the engineering companies technology providers, equipment suppliers and sub-contractors .
• Develops the Proposal Plan and review the Enquiry Summary, if necessary.
• Clear understanding of work scope & best estimation with respect to execution of project.
• Ensure that commercial submissions to tenders are fully complied with all necessary details.
• Defines the bid cost structure, with the support of the site work estimator.
• Manages the interfaces with Partners (engineering co., equipment supplier and sub-contractors ) and Client and develop matrix of responsibilities.
• Approves the scope of work of each party involved in the bid.
• Analyses Contract requirements and conditions.
• Review the cost estimate of materials developed by other estimators ( fabrication or site works )
• Prepares the bidding documents for the subcontract RFQ’s during bidding stage .
• Identifies the pre-bid agreements to be completed, if necessary;
• Review the cost estimate of internally performed activities developed by the other technical departments (engineering, procurement, assets management) and by sub-contractors and develop the final pricing and commercial conditions .
• Develop the preliminary project cash flow .
• Endorses the project organization, overall project schedule, overall execution plan, and overall resources plan developed by the Operations Coordinator.
• Integrates proposal packages prepared by the individual Operating Companies and Proposal Partners (if any) and reconcile possible discrepancies.
• Ensure that clarifications are raised well in time to get better clarity on bid submission.
• All in-house co-ordination for preparation of bid including follow-up, collection of input from various sub-contractors or 3rd party.
• Submits the proposal to the Client.
• Co-ordinate & follow-up to ensuring post bid clarifications are addressed and answered properly .
• Follow up the status of the bid / tender until obtaining the final result and hand over the project file in case of award for the project management team or close the project file in case of losing the project to other contractors .
