REACH Yemen is seeking a Project Officer (PO) to provide support to the CCCM portfolio. In this role, the PO will be responsible for supporting the REACH CCCM Focal Point on matters related to assessments, monitoring, and general information management (IM). Tasks will include supporting the maintenance of the cluster IM strategy, indicator review, tool development, design of trainings, coordination of data collection, data analysis, output production, translations, trainings and IM platform design (as relevant). This support will be provided for several assessments and monitoring exercises, based on the needs of the clusters, as determined through close collaboration with REACH.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Objective 1: Research Design
Under the supervision of the REACH Country Focal Point (CFP), Research Manager (RM), CCCM Assessment Officer (AO), and in collaboration with the REACH Technical Unit (TU) (in-country), the Data and Research Units in IMPACT HQ (Geneva), and the Yemen CCCM Clusters, the PO will be responsible for supporting the AO in ensuring that the Research Design for the project is comprehensive, and follow best practices as defined by the global standards of REACH and IMPACT.
Objective 2: Implementation
Under the supervision of the REACH CFP, RM, CCCM AO and in collaboration with the REACH TU, the IMPACT Data and Research Units, and the Yemen CCCM Clusters, the PO will be supporting the CCCM AO in the implementation of all operational stages of the relevant data collection exercises, including tool and methodology design, coordination of data collection, data cleaning, data analysis, translations and trainings.
Objective 3: Output Production
Under the supervision of the REACH CFP, RM and CCCM AO, and in collaboration with the IMPACT Data and Reporting Units and the Yemen CCCM Clusters, the PO will be supporting the CCCM AO in producing all relevant outputs related to the aforementioned data collection exercises. These outputs may include cleaned datasets, fact sheets, situation overviews, reports, and online dashboards.
Objective 4: Coordination
Under the supervision of the REACH CFP and TM the PO will be supporting the CCCM AO in coordinating with the Yemen CCCCM Clusters, and all relevant partners throughout all stages of the Research Cycle.
