1. Roles and Responsibilities
The following is a brief description of the role.
Generic responsibilities
These responsibilities shall be the same for all positions with the same title. The responsibilities shall be short and essential. Details belong in the Work- and Professional Development Plan.
• Identifies gaps, problems in the implementation area of own activities.
• Develops own weekly activity planning.
• Provides direction, assigns tasks and gives instructions to daily labours and/or contractors and evaluates individual performance.
• Monitors the progress of activities of assigned daily labour and or contractors and ensures they are implemented conform planning and quality standards.
• Adheres to NRC policies CC tools, handbooks, and guidelines.
• Prepares and files accurate records of project activities and ensures all information is accurate and available in time.
Specific responsibilities
These responsibilities shall be adapted to the particularities of the job location and context, the phase of operation, strategic focus and type of programme intervention. This section shall be revised whenever a new employee is hired or the context changes significantly. The line manager drafts the specific responsibilities and sends them to his/her line manager for approval.
• Awareness raising, outreach and provision of NRC program information to beneficiaries throughout the camp.
• Facilitate refugee access to assistance by making necessary referrals and regularly follow-up on referral pathways within the camp.
• Maintenance of good working relationships and outreach with partners and service providers within the camp.
• Monitoring the general context within the camp and coordination to identify issues affecting refugees in accessing services within the camp.
• Regularly reporting updated information on services and issues affecting refugees.
• Assisting in delivering complaints within the camp.
• Preparing weekly and monthly district meeting and other camp related reports.
• Supporting other projects by conducting exit interviews and post-distribution monitoring.
• Monitoring and reporting progress and impact of activities according to M&E schedule, including internal weekly and monthly reporting on the progress of activities.
• General internal reporting regarding our team within the department.
