Responsibility for ensuring that the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of human resources plans and programs are realized and ensure that ARDD policies and procedures are adhered to, in addition timely and effective services are delivered.
Reporting Lines: Director and Director Deputy
Principal Responsibilities:
(a) Human resources
• Developing and administering human resources plans and procedures that relate to the organization personnel.
• Provides interpretation of HR policy and practice to ensure quality standards are maintained, ensure compliance with local labour law and that best practice is encouraged.
• Planning, organizing, and controlling the activities and actions of the HR department
• Contributing to the development of HR department goals and objectives.
• Serving as point person on projects and tasks
• Developing HR strategies with upper management of the organization.
• Handling employee-related services.
• Creating and revising job descriptions.
• Organizing the recruitment processes including, placing adverts, dealing with responses and correspondence; ensuring prompt long listing and short-listing; facilitating the interviewing process and taking part in the interviews, as required. Promptly takes up reference checks, initiates pre-employment medical processes, obtains results and advises the respective managers.
• Conducting new employee orientations and employee relations counselling.
• Provides day-to-day advice to the Units teams, on the implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency.
• Medical Insurance focal person - responsible for staff health and safety.
• To monitor contracts and contracts renewal, and keeps management informed of important dates in staff contracts e.g. end of contract dates, probation & review dates, etc).
• Creating and supporting on writing agreements, MOUs, consultancy contract and any type of agreement after coordination with the Legal department.
• Manages staff holidays, sickness absences, and any other attendance related issues.
• Ensures that all documentation kept in personal files (paper and electronic) is maintained and archived in a consistent manner.

(b) General administration
• Managing the Administrators in All ARDD Offices, delegating work and managing their workload and output.
• Work to ensure the commitment of all the staff in ARDD Internal Regulations and any special instructions issued within the organization. 
• Arranging requests for visa and other personnel-related documents in accordance with the requirements of ARDD Legal Aid system.
• Preparation of correspondence in English and Arabic as required .
• Maintaining the condition of the office and arranging for necessary repairs.
• Implementing and promoting equality and diversity policy.
