ASSIGNMENT
In order to ensure accurate and complete documentation of all projects as per the FLAT(Finance, Logistic, Admin, Transparency) compliance checklist, the Audit/Compliance Assistant - Field Based will assist the Country Audit / Compliance Manager in with the follow-up on procedures and filing systems of ACTED. The Audit/Compliance Assistant will work under the direct supervision of Mafraq Coordination & Amman Compliance Officer.
GENERAL
- Responsible for the Compliance, Transparency and Documentation procedures' enforcement in Mafraq
FLAT Support:
- Train/reinforce compliance capacities and knowledge of HR/FIN/LOG Officers.
- Managing spot checks on the compliance of FIN/HR/LOG processes and completing the corresponding checklists
- Ensuring that the originals of the relevant documents are sent to the Capital on a monthly basis (finance vouchers, personal files, procurement files). The effective sending remains the responsibility of each department. =
- Follow-up on audit and compliance findings and recommendations
- Assist with Internal Audits conducted at the base
REPORTING:
- Send a monthly compliance report to FLAT Amman and share it with Coordination and relevant staff in area
- Report findings on the specific templates to send to Amman FLATS
- Perform other tasks as delegated by Amman FLATS department or by Area Coordination
