Job Summary:
This position is responsible for issuing and applying all Health, Safety, Security and Environmental functions policies, practices, and operations within Hikma MENA region, in addition to the training, auditing, risk assessments and reporting.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manages and develops the company’s Health, Safety, Security and Environmental functions, implementing policies, procedures and systems to provide safe and secure business operation across Hikma MENA sites.
• Represents Hikma MENA with local sites health, safety, security and environment department, in order to ensure a mutual understanding of the Company’s goals and requirements, and to work in a co-operative partnership with local resources.
• Maintains HSE certifications.
• Maintains up-to-date information and knowledge on new developments and best practices in the areas of Health, Safety, Security, Environmental and Loss Prevention.
• Develops emergency response plans and ensures resources in place to respond to different emergencies such as fire, spills, personal injuries…etc.
• Plans and implements programs to train managers and employees in required trainings in the field of health, safety, security and environment.
• Directs HSE inspection program to facilities to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards, determines corrective or preventative measures where indicated, and follows up to ensure measures have been implemented.
