Background Social Mobile counselor :
The WPE social mobile counselor officer willbe responsible for supporting the implementation of partnership activities on Case Management and other activities related (awareness sessions on GBV basics, home visits, individual and group counseling ) in tow location Mafraq / Rawdet Basma and ICCS Zarqa Camp CFSs. to insure this activities implementation she will work 3 days a week in Rawdet Basma CFS and 2days weekly in ICCS Zarqa Camp, she will provide case management for Syrian and host community GBV and non GBV beneficiaries and raise awareness on GBV basics in those locations and provide all support needed for partners staffs in the capacity building plan and phases throughout the UNICEF project for raising the Capacity building on Case Management for local NGOs . .
Social Mobile Counselor Purpose:
As part of the IRC WPE Social Mobile activities through UNICEF project to Support and Razing the Capacity Building on Case Management for local partnerships staff in the CFSs Capacity Building Plan starting from the first phase providing technical trainings on Case management, GBV Awareness, Adolescence curriculum and other topics related and other phases on the fields ( mentoring, Shadowing and hand over phases WPE aim to enhance the WPE staff and IRC partners’ staff to provide high quality case management for GBV and none GBV cases, raise awareness on GBV basics and provide the individual and group counselling for marginalized beneficiaries in for Syrian refugee and host community through the CFSs ( Child Friendly Spaces) this will help them knowing their rights and to provide the GBV cases with support available to maintain the protection for them and enhance their self confidence, their wellbeing and self esteem .
Therefore, the IRC is seeking to hire a Social Mobile counsellor temporary (service contract) instead of a counsellor who will be in maternity leave for two month to support the partners’ staff in two location CFSs in Zarqa and Mafraq.
