Coordinating technical pre-sales activities. Transferring industry, technical and product knowledge to customers via good written, verbal and presentation skills. Assisting in all levels of technical account planning and accompanying account managers on visits to customers. The Pre-Sales & Technical Support Manager supports the successful achievement of sales targets by analyzing the technical needs and proving ability to deliver the solutions proposed to prospects or existing customers.
Technical Duties and responsibilities:
- Providing answers to (technical) questions in a Request for Information or a Request for Proposal.
- Building custom demos.
- Providing first-line technical support for pilot projects.
- Supporting customer events.
- Monitoring accurate and correct delivery of product sold.
- Building technical relationship with prospects or existing customers.
- Providing any technical input needed for proposals.
- Being able to position and present product offerings.
- Comparing product offering with product from other vendors from a technical point of view.
- Distributing projects to Project Managers and monitoring their performance closely to ensure satisfying customers according to company policies and standards.
- Obtaining new clients and employing customer service and interpersonal skills to satisfy existing clients.
- Responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, such as setting up and breaking down audio-visual equipment and building relationships with all verticals.
- Overseeing and coordinating with AVXAV vendors.
- Ensuring that all AVXAV project components are correctly budgeted, specified and ordered in a timely manner in coordination with logistics.
- Coordinating with PM to ensure that AVXAV work is scheduled and committed to take place within the agreed upon dates from rough-in to final delivery.
- Keeping abreast with new technologies and techniques and studying their feasibility to be applied at projects.
- Handling problems that might face the team during projects and taking corrective and preventive actions wherever possible.
- Ability of the RFQ & RFP specifications and convert it to reading design & BOQ.
- Project planning on Microsoft project.
- Getting the project handover & get the handover certificate signed & stamped from the client as per the project plan.
-Following up with logistics that all BOQ materials are ordered and having delivery date as well as updating the status of BOQ till getting confirmation from logistics that all materials are received & ready for installation before the installation starting date.
