This is a re-opening of the advertisement for the position of Regional Protection Data Administrator Assistant, and only CVs for applicants who will provide a motivation letter will be processed.
Main responsibilities:
The Regional Protection Data Administrator Assistant (RDAA) will work in the ICRC Regional Protection Data Office in Amman. S/he will provide contextualized technical advice and support in protection data management, to ICRC Delegations covered by Amman Office namely, Jordan, Israel, Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, Egypt, Syria, Iran and Kuwait. Therefore, s/he will be required to carry out temporary short missions (less than one month) to those countries, as per the Delegations needs and security rules. S/he will help as well in providing regional, global statistics and analytical reports.
The RDAA works under the guidance and supervision of an ICRC experienced Regional Protection Data Administrator. More specifically, s/he will support the Data Administrators (DA) in the Delegations mentioned above, in their day to day work, answering to their questions and monitoring the quality of their databases (coherence and consistency). S/he will as well support / advise them in data processing, technical use of institutional software, office management, analytical reporting, and training in data management.
