Operations officer is the point of contact between the clients and the operations department and is also responsible for organizing the storage and distribution of goods. In this role you will ensure that the right products are delivered to the right location on time and at a good cost. You may also be involved in transportation, stock control, warehousing and monitoring the flow of goods.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the orders between the factory and the main office.
- Issuing purchase orders.
- Scheduling and planning deliveries.
- Arrange the deadlines and delivery dates with the clients.
- Arrange international shipments from the supplier to the warehouse.
- keep track of the office equipments, Showroom equipment, staff and vacations.
- Prepare and Review invoices and customs documents.
- Plan and coordinate warehousing and transportation in the distribution chain.
- Keep records of all shipping activities, documenting procedures, guidelines, and changes in procedures for reference purposes.
- Monitoring stock levels.
- Ensure that the warehouses are in good condition.
