• Work as part of the team to develop and oversee the implementation of the asset management system, including country and Za’atari Camp asset related policies and procedures.
• Help develop and maintain monthly, periodic and annual asset management plans aligned with the country strategy and budget, and in consultation with senior management.
• Develop and maintain asset registers, including; acquisitions, maintenance management, custodianship, transfers and valuations.
• With program and operations staffs develop asset needs assessment, acquisition management, operational and disposal plans.
• Execute and monitor the implementation of the asset acquisition, maintenance and disposal plans. Directly assist the process of assets disposition.
• Plan and execute the asset verification, investigate and report on variances, make necessary recommendations to resolve discrepancies, and update the asset register for all offices and projects.
• Develop, implement and manage mechanisms to safeguard assets.
• Prepare a monthly reconciliation with supporting documents of the asset registers to the relevant accounting records, and resolve uncleared items.
• Report on asset management issues as required to internal and external stakeholders.
• Any other task as requested by Admin and Logistics Manager and senior management.
