The position function under the authority of Deputy Country Director for Operations. The Safety and Security officer is assign to serve as a security focal point in Amman and manage ACTED Security and Safety department. He/She is responsible to ensure ACTED Country Security Plan, Security SOPs and ACTED safety and security rules are implemented country wide.
He/She also responsible to ensure a regular security and safety communication is maintained between ACTED office at Amman and field offices.
